Transportation Systems Modeline Resear
This project transfers $837,540.00 to the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering at Mississippi State University to support the development and application of a Transportation Systems Modeling Research Program per the provision in the House Conference Report on the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) FY '06 Appropriation Act Transportation Planning Research & Development (TPR&D) Budget. The focus of the research program will be on the development of methodologies and software algorithms necessary for realistic simulation of pedestrian traffic at intermodal connector facilities such as airports, subway terminals, and bus stations.
