Analiticka Struktura Disperzije Kružnih Putovanja Po Pojedinim Plovidbenim Podrucjima Svijeta
With 34 billion tons of cargo, the year 2010 saw an increase of maritime transport. as well as an increase of travellers up to 18 billion on cruises. While 50 years ago cruises took place mostly in areas around North America and the Mediterranean, as many still do to this day, other sailing areas around the world have become of interest for many cruises. As a result of the fast growth and increasing trend of cruising from year to year, the capacity of cruisers is increasing. The purpose of this article is to analyze and show the dispersion of cruises by individual sailing areas around the world. A number of cruising areas around the world and the percentage of cruises by ocean location is presented in this study. This analysis reveals the offerings of cruises, along with statistics of monthly or annual number of travels, as well as capacity of ships and predominant length of cruises, organized by geographical area.
