Modernising the national road network: a planning framework to improve connectivity and development: consultant report
Indonesia’s trade competitiveness and future growth prospects depend on strong action to improve connectivity between economic centres. This report outlines a new framework for modernising the national road network to achieve this. It requires a strategic shift in funding priority from asset preservation to capacity investment to underpin the coming medium-term strategy (RENSTRA), a change in public and private funding modality, and greater accountability for performance against national targets for connectivity and mobility.
