The Evolution of Real-time Parking Data

This presentation will cover technologies used for collecting real-time parking space availability information including traditional loops and barriers as well as more recent developments such as sensor mesh networks. The talk will also include uses of real-time parking availability data in areas such as traffic management and urban mobility as well as the distribution of this data to drivers. The presentation will conclude with case studies that highlight the benefits of real-time availability data for car park operators, municipalities and drivers.
