Advanced Technology Bus Rapid Transit Project
This amendment enables the Advanced Technology Bus Rapid Transit project team to collect and analyze advanced vehicle data, alongside data on existing vehicles, to provide operating costs, performance and reliability comparisons of advanced vehicles over a range of seasonal operating conditions. This data analysis exercise will assist transit planners and operators in making effective vehicle selections and in finding the best uses of these advanced vehicles. To develop this project, the Southeast Area Transit Authority partnered with the City of Norwich Clean Cities Coalition, the Southeastern Connecticut Council of Governments and other alternative fuel transportation industry members.
