Hard times for airlines
State-owned carriers in central and eastern Europe have been overwhelmed by losses, and there are doubts as to whether their governments will be able to continue to sustain them. Will this end up in increased privatization or will low-cost carriers take over their routes? Yana Palagacheva reports.
