Car-sharing saves city $100,000 a year
Nine City of Loveland, Colorado's fleet department is able to serve nine internal customers with 10% fewer vehicles by using wireless CarShare technology. They replaced 40 cars, pickup trucks and vans with 15 leased vehicles and eliminated 900 maintenance-related labor hours per year. Details of the program are presented here.
