SBB TESTS PROTOTYPE TILTING COACHES

Four prototypes of Swiss Federal Railways' Series III coaches have been delivered and are undergoing tests. With body-tilting and air-conditioning, the cars described are designed to meet growing competition from other modes by giving greater comfort at higher speeds over existing lines.
