MECHANICAL STRENGTH AND BEHAVIOR OF ROCK PILES /IN FRENCH/

INVESTIGATIONS WERE CARRIED OUT AT THREE PLACES WHERE NATURAL SLOPES FORMED BY ROCK FALLS WERE SUBJECTED TO SLIDES FOLLOWING WORKS CARRIED OUT AT THE FOOT OF THE SLOPE. THE SLIDING BEHAVIOR OF THE BLOCKS OF ROCK WAS STUDIED BY MEANS OF CONTINUOUS AND GRANULAR MEDIUM MECHANICS. MODEL INVESTIGATIONS WERE ALSO CONDUCTED. /TRRL/
