ITU-T Focus Group on Driver Distraction: Report on User Interface Requirements for Automotive Applications
Guidance is presented to help designers improve their products that enhance situational awareness for drivers. The User Interface requirements for Automotive applications (P.UIA), was developed from the Focus Group on Driver Distraction, that was held by the International Telecommunication Union Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T). The P.UIA is described and discussed. An architecture is proposed for P.UIA, which can aid in good design performances and practices.
