Transportation Professionals and Social Media: Taking the Plunge
This article examines the social media presence of transportation industry professionals. It highlights the participation of Institute of Transportation Engineer (ITE) on Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google plus, Instagram, and the ITE community member forum. The author discusses the benefits social media participation offers to ITE members, and the article features an interview with officers of the student chapter of ITE California Polytechnic State University-Pomona.
