Auto pilot
This article takes a look at test procedures being used in the emerging field of advanced driver assistant systems (ADAS) by original equipment manufacturers in order to ensure reliability. There is a movement away from simulation to real-world scenarios, with tests defined over a wide spread of different road scenarios in different countries at different temperatures. A challenge is standardization, with it being difficult to get standardized equipment to conduct standardized tests.
