A Cognitive Learning Model for Dynamic Activity-travel Patterns
As individuals travel and receive information about the urban and transport environment through information and communication technologies, they will update their mental representation of the built environment, which in turn may influence their activity-travel choices. Thus, this paper proposes a model that simulates probabilities based on individual observations in the built environment, explains the model framework, and presents the results of simulations designed to test the face validity of the model.
