Comportement en feu des enrobes bitumineux
French regulations relative to highway tunnel safety define minimum safety measures to be adopted, and in particular set the requirements relative to the fire reaction and fire resistance of tunnel structures and equipment. However, tunnel pavements do not form part of the structures and are thus do not subject to regulatory requirements relative to fire reaction. It is however important to know the fire behaviour of asphalt in the case of a burning vehicle in a road tunnel.
