Le projet MURE : enrobe tiedes et multirecyclage des agregats d'enrobes

The recycling of asphalt aggregates and warm temperature techniques used for the production of asphalt are the main approaches adopted by the road-building community in order to meet sustainable development requirements. Taken separately, each of these techniques is mastered. However, used together, they raise question that concern on the one hand the owning authority and its contracting agency and, on the other, the contractor. Such questions, left unanswered, are liable to compromise the fulfillment of voluntary commitment goals signed by the industry. Calls for tenders are in fact still found in which it is stipulated that the introduction of asphalt aggregates in warm asphalt is rules out. The purpose of multi-recycling project (MURE) is to deal with these issues and to provide well thought-out and quantified responses in order to make the multi-recycling of warm asphalt a carefully applied, specified and encouraged industrial process.
