TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENTS WITH THERMISTORS IN FROSTY SOILS (IN POLISH)

THE AUTHOR EXPLAINS A DEVICE FOR MEASURING SOIL TEMPERATURES, BASED ON THE RESISTANCE METHOD. THE REDUCTION IN THE SIZE OF THE MEASURING DIALS DUE TO THE THERMISTORS RESULTS IN GREATER HANDLING FREEDOM BOTH IN LABORATORY AND IN-SITU TESTS. A FURTHER ADVANTAGE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF TAKING NUMEROUS MEASUREMENTS OVER ANY DESIRED LENGTH OF TIME AND OBTAINING UNINTERRUPTED PICTURES OF TEMPORAL TEMPERATURE MODIFICATIONS AT A PARTICULAR POINT IN THE FROST ZONE. /FG/ RRL/
