Europe wants safer and cleaner trucks : European Commission proposes changes in vehicle design
Europa wil vrachtwagens veiliger en schoner maken : Europese commissie stelt aanpassingen in voertuigontwerp voor
In April 2013 the European Commission launched a series of proposals for alternative designs for trucks. The aim is to enable manufacturers to develop streamlined vehicles that consume less, emit less greenhouse gases and are also safer for cyclists and pedestrians. In the past two years the commission consulted the various interest groups and they surveyed the general public.
