COMPUTER CONTROL OF DB'S AUTOMATED MARSHALLING YARD AT SEELZE
At Seelze, the German Federal Railway's most modern marshalling yard, a computer has for the past two years been in control of operations. Bundesbahndirektor Otto Schenk describes the way in which this has improved output and quality of operation and eliminated time-consuming tasks.
