BEARING CAPACITY CALCULATION DIAGRAMS FOR SHALLOW FOUNDATIONS WITH INCLINED LOAD IN THE TWO DIMENSIONAL GROUND /IN JAPANESE/

THE BEARING CAPACITY OF SURFACE FOUNDATIONS UNDER INCLINED LOADS IN TWO DIMENSIONAL WEIGHTLESS SOIL IS CALCULATED AND THE BEARING CAPACITY FACTORS IN TERMS OF Q/C ARE SHOWN IN TABLES. THE RESULTANT BEARING CAPACITY IS OBTAINED FROM THE SUM OF AN ANALYTICAL SOLUTION BASED ON KOTTER'S EQUATION AND THE MINIMUM PASSIVE EARTH RESISTANCE DUE TO SOIL WEIGHT, DERIVED FROM SOKOLOVSKI'S NUMERICAL SOLUTION. /RRL/
