OIL SPILLS, IR AND MICROWAVE
The preliminary findings of this study point to fruitful areas of directed application research and the techniques should be pursued with vigor and proper governmental funding. This would ultimately result in greatly reduced costs for spill tracking, source identification, determining the terminal destination and determining the efficiency of clean-up operations.
