EFFECT OF INORGANIC CORROSION INHIBITORS ON THE PROTECTIVE PROPERTIES OF SHIP PRIMERS
EINFLUSS ANORGANISCHER KORROSIONSINHIBITOREN AUF DIE SCHUTZEIGENSCHAFTEN VON SCHIFFSGRUNDIERUNGS-FARBEN
Experiments are reported in which several inorganic compounds were used in paint formations used as primer in marine protective coatings. Sodium nitrite, sodium benzoate, hexametasodiumphosphate, and sodium polyphosphate were used as additives tested. It is shown that sodium nitrite and sodium polyphosphate are technically as well as economically the best processing corrosion inhibitors.
