Regulation, Competition and Public Services: Communicating Transport Research and Innovation

This Thematic Research Summary provides a synthesis of results of completed European research projects on regulation (market opening), competition and public services in the transport sector. Several research projects have been set up to improve information about transport markets and to analyse the potential to improve regulation, competition conditions and measures to implement general public interest. This Thematic Research Summary presents the results of these projects under the Sixth and Seventh Framework Programme, and studies tendered by the European Commission since 2007.
