RHEOLOGICAL STUDY OF VISCOSITIES AND PIPELINE FLOW OF CONCENTRATED SLURRIES
A systematic study of variables affecting viscosity and pipeline flow of concentrated slurries was made. They include volume fraction of plastic beads, shear rate, particle size, size distribution and L/D. Ranges covered were for shear rates 100 to 700 per sec., particle size 57 to 136 micrometers and volume fraction 0.20 to 0.55.
