BEHAVIOR OF CONCRETE POURED UNDER BETONITE SUSPENSIONS

LABORATORY TESTS SHOW THAT THE STRENGTH PROPERTIES OF CONCRETE POURED INTO TRENCHES UNDER BENTONITE SUSPENSIONS ARE EQUAL TO THOSE OF CONCRETE POURED INTO DRY SOIL OR UNDERGROUND WATER. THE STRENGTH VALUES OF CONCRETE TAKEN FROM THE TRENCHES ARE UP TO 20 PER CENT HIGHER THAN FOR TEST CUBES MADE OF THE SAME CONCRETE AND TREATED ACCORDING TO DIN 1045. /RRL/
