LNG SHIPS-A NEW CONSTRUCTION APPROACH
A new approach to the construction of LNG ships is presented. This system involves the construction of the ships hull by a shipyard, and the construction of the LNG tanks by an experienced cryogenic tank manufacturer. The completed tanks are shipped by barge to the shipyard, where final construction takes place. The numerous advantages gained through the utilization of this construction approach are fully described in the article.
