Personalized Traffic Information Service Based on User Interests
Compared with traditional traffic information service which disregards user's interests, personalized service can improve user's experiences by providing customized information. However, most personalized services require users to input their interests manually. The complex and detailed input, sometimes difficult to operate, may be low-efficient and inconvenient to users. To solve the problem, the authors propose a system to simplify users operations by automatically analyzing user's interests from their historical route traces. In the system, user;s interests analysis and personalized traffic information generation are two important modules. This paper introduces architecture of the system and processing low of the main modules. Experimental results about user historical route traces and personalized traffic information are also presented.
