Implementation of Florida's TSM&O Program
Florida has embraced Transportation System Management and Operations (TSM&O) as an effective means to combat congestion, improve safety, and improve travel time reliability. The Florida Department of Transportation is leading efforts to implement coordinated, multimodal congestion management strategies. Another key is performance measurement to evaluate effectiveness of TSM&O strategies once they have been put into place.
