Utilisation of Slag From Steel Industry as an Aggregate in Concrete
In this paper, the possibility of utilizing slags produced in Croatian plants as an aggregate in concrete is investigated. Properties of aggregates were determined on coarse slag fractions according to relevant European Standards. Due to obtained results, slags are specified in accordance with classes as given in HRN EN 12620/AC which are compared to Croatian regulation requirements afterwards. The obtained results show that coarse slag fractions are suitable for concrete application.
