This paper briefly analyses the following papers: a development in road marking materials: formed in situ plastic, raised pavement markers (whitefield=fn); bituminous materials for maintenance patching (rebbechi=jj); bitumen stabilisation of a limestone (calcareous aeolinite) (hamory=g and ladner=pa); soil characterisation using a repeated loading cubical triaxial apparatus (makiuchi=k and shackel=b); stress history effects in basecourse materials (barrett=jr and smith=dm).
