Relationship of tyre inflation pressure and load to contact pressure

After constructing a heavy duty rubber tyre roller in county workshops to own design an investigation was made in an endeavour to ascertain the most effective method for its ultimate use. Hence it was necessary to ascertain ground contact pressures under varying conditions of load and varying tyre inflation pressures.
