A computer routine of stepwise regression analysis

Regression analysis is often misused by engineers and other professionals. Frequently the results obtained from regressions are not adequately tested or understood. This report describes methods of testing regressions and a computer program for stepwise regression. The program, streg, allows data to be regressed with up to 30 variables and unlimited data.
