Report of a visit to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur - August 1976

This report is based on a one week visit to Singapore and kuala lumpur in August 1976 to attend the combined ARRB and road engineering association of asia and australasia highway engineering workshop. The functioning and technical content of the workshop are briefly reported. The author's impressions of urban transport policy, traffic conditions and traffic management in these two asian cities are described.
