Urban transportation corridor studies
Urban transportation corridor studies may be carried out for a variety of reasons, and their nature and extent will vary accordingly. For the purpose of this paper, an urban transportation corridor study will be defined as one that is carried out to identify existing and future problems within a given corridor, and to arrive at a feasible and acceptable course of action to overcome these problems (a).
