Development of the Australian Road Index and IRRD data base

This paper provides a brief description of the Australian Road Research Board and of the development of its library. It also describes the weekly current awareness bulletin roadlit, the computer based quarterly Australian road index, and the currently under development IRRD system. This paper has been published previously as: Australian Road Research Board Internal Report AIR 000-37.
