Remedial stabilisation works in developed areas
Remedial stabilization techniques to prevent future landslip, or to allow effective isolation of structures already affected by landslip, are discussed and illustrated by means of several case histories of remedial measures undertaken. The case histories presented indicate situations to be avoided in future development and the necessity of pre development geotechnical assessment of landslip prone areas. Geotechnical aids to landslip assessment are outlined. (A)
