Motorcycle training, licence procedures and restrictions governing the use of motorcycles in Japan

This is a report by the author when he visited Japan as a guest of the honda motor company from 13th - 22nd October, 1975. The objectives of this visit were to examine at first hand the motivation teaching methods, course content, duration and depth of training given to motorcyclists in Japan, with a view to the possible inclusion of new techniques and subject matter in motorcycle courses conducted by the National Safety Council of Western Australia, also to gain information and experience which could be of value to the deliberations of the executive committee of the road safety division.
