Bee line bus service passenger counts February 1978

The report documents the results of surveys of the bee line bus service conducted in February 1978. The bee line bus operates in the central business district of Adelaide between Victoria square and the railway station and back again. Included in the report are a description of the survey method and a comparison of the results with those obtained four years ago. The surveys that were conducted were of two types: (i) a count of passengers boarding and alighting at key locations for a complete week, monday through to saturday. The count was conducted at the two bus stops in north terrace near the Adelaide railway station. (Ii) a one day count of passengers boarding and alighting at all bus stops. In both surveys, all passengers who were 4 years of age and over were counted. Details of the full week count are given in section 2.0 Of this report while details of the one day stop count are given in section 3.0
