Assessment of physical resources for road works
This report discusses the main materials used by the road industry with reference to supplies and usage of such resources. The second part describes the availability of plant and equipment of a capital nature in relation to Australian production and imports, as well as the capacity of hire firms to supply the requirements of the road industry. The supply and demand for labour by category is discussed in the third part with special reference to the future supply of engineers. The conclusions which can be drawn from the foregoing are set out in the fourth part.
