Keeping your options open - the influence of public transport options on planning a new district centre at Albury Wodonga

Planning of the district centre for the new town of thurgoona required the definition of a framework to guide short term development whilst preserving options related to longer term decisions. These related to catchment size, public transit mode and public transit alignment. In this case it is shown that these options can be preserved until a later decision without substantially compromising the development of a plan.
