Bayside corridor travel time study

The royal automobile club of Victoria conducted a study of travel times in the bayside corridor, to gain a measure of the efficiency of the road network in catering for the traffic using the west gate bridge, the johnson street bridge and their associated approach roads. The survey indicated a redistribution of traffic on the road network following the opening of the two bridges. This redistribution of traffic has resulted in a general improvement in travel times on routes in the bayside corridor.
