Bridge loading programme (NSW) - progress report no 3
This third progress report contains the first major printed output of a loading spectrum for general traffic from the brookside bridge over racecourse creek near picton in NSW. The information was obtained by recording strain signals over approximately the same six hour periods on the 13th, 15th and 17th of October 1980, created by general traffic. A total of 9,915 vehicles were registered and 2,253 created an event. Some selected sections of the previous "p328 bridge loading programme" reports (no 1 and no 2) are included in order to establish continuity, but for much of the detailed information the reader may have to consult the complete reports.
