Highway rest areas: member's perspectives
This report presents and analyses results from a members' survey of highway stopping places undertaken in the July 1995 Royalauto. Members were given a series of questions to answer on the spacing, location and desired features or facilities at wayside stops, rest areas and service centres. The survey also invited members to have a say on what facilities they preferred and expected at highway stopping places, and at what intervals they should be placed along the highway.
