OPTIMISING THE PERFORMANCE OF FUEL TREATMENT MATERIALS

The basic requirements for a good fuel treatment material and the dangerous effects of heavy metals are briefly described. Petrolad 1.10 stabilizer package, a product of BETA Petrochemie, is described, tested, and compared to other selected materials. It is found to be excellent for on-site diesel fuel processing and superior to the other materials tested. Recommendations are made for treatment methods and rates while using Petrolad 1.10. The benefits and usage of Petrolad MCA residual fuel ash modifier are also described.
