Australian bridge design code - limit states format
The Australian Bridge Design Code provides, in limit states format, requirements for the design of road, rail and pedestrian bridges and structures in Australia. This code replaces the NAASRA Bridge Design Specification, 1976, and the ANZRC Bridge Design Manual, and incorporates the AUSTROADS Bridge Design Code 1992. It is issued for use for the design of conventional bridges of up to 100 m spans. This code is published as a series of separate but complementary sections, each with separate commentary, as follows: Section 1: General; Section 2: Design Loads; Section 3: Foundations; Section 4: Bearings and Deck Joints; Section 5: Concrete; Section 6: Steel and Composite Construction; Section 7: Rating; and Railway Supplement (Sections 1 to 5).
