Asset management of aged bridge structures - repair or replace
In today's economic climate of reducing capital funds for new construction, a realistic assessment of the residual life of existing structures is of vital concern. Structure lives far in excess of the original design life are being demanded of many aged bridge structures. This paper summarises the outcomes of three investigations concerning the repair or replacement of specific structures.
