Instantaneous effects of road traffic noise on sleep assessed by computerized polygraphy
Our previous study revealed that rectangular intermittent noise gave stronger effects on sleep than continuous noise both at the same noise level. The objective of this report is to study the instantaneous effect of intermittent single road traffic noise and to clarify the relationship between the peak sound level and the effects on sleep polygraphy.
