MARINE PROPELLER MATERIAL EVALUATION OF CORROSION FATIGUE STRENGTH
A short description of the most common propeller materials are given together with chemical compositions and mechanical properties. The results of corrosion fatigue tests carried out in Det Norske Veritas laboratory are presented, followed by comments on the allowable propeller blade stresses derived from the evaluation of the test results.
