Quality of service: conceptual issues and telecommunications case study
Information on quality of service is an important component of performance measurement for Government Business Enterprises and other firms. This report presents the findings of a Bureau study of conceptual issues in the measurement of service quality. It includes a case study on the telecommunications industry. This is the first comprehensive work by the Bureau on quality of service. The methodology developed in the report will be refined by undertaking additional case studies at a later date. These case studies will cover the aviation industry and other areas of transport and communications (possibly including further work on telecommunications).
