H&W BUILDING DOCK IN BELFAST WILL BE WORLDS BIGGEST

Harland and Wolffs new building dock, with a length of 1825 ft ( 556 m ) and a width of 305 ft ( 93 m ), will be able to accommodate a vessel of 1,000,000 dwt. Details are given for construction and operation of the new dock and other developments in the yards modernization program.
