THEORY OF SOIL CONSOLIDATION (IN RUSSIAN)

A NEW METHOD OF SOIL STABILIZATION IS DESCRIBED, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT CREEP AND SEEPAGE PROPERTIES OF SOILS. PROBLEMS OF COMPRESSION AND AXIAL SYMMETRY CREEP, STABILIZATION OF INORGANIC FOUNDATIONS AND BASES OF FINITE THICKNESS ARE DISCUSSED. IN ALL THESE PROBLEMS, THE INFLUENCE OF CREEP AND FILTRATION OF LIQUIDS DEPENDS ON THE STRESS-STRAIN STATE OF SOILS AND PORE PRESSURE VARIATIONS IN TIME. /LCPC/RRL/
